What I collect, and why

I only collect the data you choose to give me, along with a little anonymous information about how the site is used:

When you use the contact form: your name, email address and message, used only to read and reply to your enquiry. Legal basis: my legitimate interest in responding to you.

When you subscribe to the newsletter: your email address, used to send occasional studio letters about new work, exhibitions and events. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email. Legal basis: your consent.

When you browse the site: limited technical information such as browser and device type, collected through cookies and analytics to help me understand and improve the site. This is not used to identify you personally.

Cookies

The site uses a small number of cookies for basic functionality and anonymous analytics, and some embedded content, such as social media, may set its own cookies. You can manage or refuse cookies through your browser settings.

The webshop

Purchases and payments are handled through a separate webshop, which has its own privacy policy and payment provider. When you shop there, your order and payment details are processed under that shop’s terms, not through this site.

Who I share your data with

I never sell your personal data. I only share it with trusted service providers who help me run this website and newsletter, such as my website host and email provider, and only as far as needed to deliver these services. They act on my instructions and are bound by confidentiality.

How long I keep your data

I keep your data only as long as necessary for the purpose it was given, or as long as the law requires. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal data, to object to or restrict how it is used, and to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, just contact me at info@paulinaree.com.

Complaints

If you believe your data has not been handled correctly, you have the right to complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet). I would, however, appreciate the chance to put things right first, so please get in touch with me.
