Saturday mornings in the atelier of artist Paulina Ree in Bekkestua. These are guided parent-child sessions for children up to 5: Paulina shows the way, and you make the activity together from start to finish. Everything the children make goes home with them.

In a real artist’s studio
What they make, they take home.
Sofonisba Atelier is the working studio of artist Paulina Ree. Every activity is designed and prepared by Paulina, with good materials chosen for small hands. Each Saturday brings something new, in a small group where there is room to take it slowly.
In a study of preschool children, the stress hormone cortisol was lower after art classes than after ordinary classroom time. We think that is reason enough to keep making.

Choose your Saturday and time, and add your child’s age, when you book. Each session closes when ten children have signed up.
When did your child last get lost in making something?
Only ten places per session, and a new material every Saturday.
Good to know
Before you come
Who it’s for. Children up to 5 years, together with a parent or another grown-up. The grown-up stays for the whole session and makes the activity together with the child, so this is not a drop-off class. The grown-up joins for free.
Language. Sessions are run in Norwegian and English.
Materials. All materials are included in the price, and everything the children make goes home with them.
If we cancel. If Sofonisba Atelier has to cancel a session, for example because of illness or too few participants, you choose between a full refund and a credit.
If you need to cancel. Cancel at least 48 hours before the session for a full refund. Cancel at least 24 hours before for a credit towards a future session or a purchase at the atelier. Later cancellations are not eligible for a refund or credit.
