While navigating the grief of losing our grandmothers in 2021 and 2022, we looked for a lasting way to honour them. That grief turned out to be a universal one, so we invited 70 contemporary artists to share their own experiences through art. The book holds stories of resilience, strength and warmth, traditions and recollections passed down through time, a space to remember, and to relate to one another.
